Can a LA name a special school for DS if we don't agree with it?

DingDong that's not quite accurate. There is a right to a mainstream education. In order to name a SS against parental wishes the LA have to prove mainstream is incompatible with the efficient education of others, and there are no reasonable steps the LA could take to mitigate this. Case law shows the bar is extremely high.
