ASD and dr phobia - leave vaccinations?

We have fully vaccinated ds till now. Last vaccinations were his 1 year ones and then at 14 months chickenpox vaccine

He hasn’t been able to have the flu spray and his reaction so bad the gp told us it wasn’t worth it this time
Problem is he’s due pre school ones and we can’t get him near the gps his reactions are so bad (bad as in he has been hospitalised)
So I’m thinking for a couple of years at least do we leave it and try when he’s a bit older and has more understanding? Perhaps save to go to a private clinic so it’s not got the association with fear / reactions as the gp surgery ?

I would find out if there is any place other than drs surgery it could be done

They said it’s gp surgery or private clinic/pharmacy (but many not offering this atm due to covid plus we would need to save up).
I feel like he may be more open to it in a couple of years and he is somewhat protected as these are boosters it’s not ideal but he gets so severely distressed I feel like it’s not something I can put him through at the moment
I’m hoping maybe when things are better covid wise he may be able to have some help in general but for now there’s so little we can do due to covid

I’m hoping his level of understanding gets better so we can explain maybe or prepare him. How things are now we can’t even say ‘doctor’ or ‘nurse’ can’t even drive that way it’s awful

I would speak to the doctor before making any decisions. You need to understand how effective the protection is with no booster and also if the booster can just be delayed or whether he will need additional doses. At school they pick up all sorts of illnesses hence the timing of the boosters.

I’m not as worried about the 4 in booster but the mmr I am a bit concerned about if he’s late for that but atm don’t want him getting so distressed he needs to go to hospital like previously as I don’t want to go there due to covid. I’m hoping he comes round to the idea tbh but it’s hard to gauge it and I don’t want to make it worse
