what support could a young person expect on entering university. He has been educated in a mainstream school with scribes and lesson support. Currently in 6th form. His diagnosis is High Functioning Autism, ADHD, developmental Coordination Disorder. His support from year 8 onwards has been exceptional and his key worker is dedicated.

Have a look at this thread that Calmed started a few weeks ago.

He would be eligible for DSA, which can include things like a mentor, study skills sessions, computer software/equipment, travel costs. Exam access arrangements would be given too.

An assessment would be carried out before he started.

If a certain type of accommodation is necessary e.g. ensuite, studio the university may give a rent reduction. Some universities have quiet flats if that would be helpful.

It would be a good idea to speak to Disability Services at potential universities because some are better than others.

As well as the link Ellie posted, there's this recent one.
