I'm sure we had a thread on this once but I can't find it so thought I'd start a new one. This may be old news to some.
DS went to the London Eye when he was off school recently because they were moving (therefore not as crowded as usual!). It cost a grand total of £5.75 for him and a carer! She went free and I think £5.75 is just the price of a child ticket. Well worth it.

Alton Towers is another good one, even asd children are counted as disabled, so up to two carers/parents get in on carers tickets (child rate) and you get given a "disabled" band to put around your wrist. You acess the rides via the disabled entrance so there is no waiting in line, you go straight to the front of the queue at all times, no matter how busy the place is.

whipsnade zoo, you can psrk your car inside for free, or take the carer in for free. saves between £10-15 each time. cant remember if disabled people get discounts tho.

ON that note, can anybody recommend holiday destinations?!!!! Have not been on holiday since DD was 5 months and 'scared' to, if you know what I mean. Am thinking of going somewhere next year and maybe taking DD's therapist along if we can afford it. Any suggestions?

I went on a 3 night short break to Butlins a few years ago and they were really good.

Don't kow how old your kids are but we did Lapland last year and it was Brill. The Finnish were so good with ds, he was 8 at the time. They understood that he had ASD and made extra sure that he was cared for.

Santa was informed before hand so they called ds and dd to the front of the queue so they didn't have to wait and spent extra long listening to ds's christmas list.
