12 months developmental delay

Just looking for some advice. My DD has just turned 1 and rather worried about her development. She seems very behind with her gross motor skills. She has been able to sit unsupported since 6 months and has good sitting balance, but she very rarely rolls, can't get up onto her hands and knees, can't crawl and won't put weight on her legs when I try to stand her (she will lift her legs in the air). She has always hated tummy time and has only just started to be able to push herself up on extended arms.

She also seems a little slow with her language development (though too early to call it a delay). She babbles dada nana though is not yet saying words. She always turns to her name and can follow a couple of commands, but doesn't seem to have much receptive language beyond that. She is also not yet pointing though can reach for things with an open hand.

On the positive side she has very good fine motor skills, loves playing with her toys, has reasonable eye contact, enjoys peakaboo and other interactive games (e.g. showing toys to me), will reach to be picked up, claps and has just started to wave (though this is still inconsistent).

I have spoken to her GP who has referred to paediatrician, but long wait for this (especially given current climate). I don't know how worried I should be.

This does not sound like developmental delay to me, she sounds perfectly normal. My nephew didn't walk until he was 2 rolled that first time at 14 months. He was slow with gross motor movement but turned out totally fine. Hang in there mama, give her time x

The language I cannot comment on but the crawl/walk part seems a little out of place. I was told that babies need to crawl to gain spacial orientation and the ability to multitask (opposing arm and leg). That being said some babies bum-shuffle and then straight walk.

I would try to encourage her crawl, even if it's only 5-10 seconds of tummy time at one time.

When on her back, is she reaching diagonally (left hand to right side of her body and vice versa)? Is she using her elbows laying on her side to support herself?

Does she sit herself up from being on her back on her own, or is she sat up by you (my 5mo cannot sit himself up but will sit when I put him up).
