My 11 yr old who is profoundly deaf is being given Drama Therapy at school. it is to help with his general behaviour and temper and aggression and also to make him more aware of other peoples feelings! Have any other parents had any experience of DT with their children and if so what did/do you think of it???

I have no experience of it myself, but my sister is a drama therapist. She loves it and has been helping a lot of people by the sound of it.

My 8 year old DS has Asperger's and has had drama therapy at school to help with his social interaction. He really enjoyed it-and has a really good relationship with the therapist, who is excellent. (She also gave him some special sessions last year when my Mum died, to help him understand, and this was very helpful too.)
