My dd 4 had ggd and suspected asd/adhd she’s literally working at at 12-18 month age if that. I’m so frustrated trying to get her to engage in activities. Stuff I would set up for her and would marginally get her attention don’t seem to slant more- just set up a pasta play and she has no interest where she might have before and she less and less interested in mark making. I’m at a loss what to do all she wants to do is run around and collect little figures up

So run round with her, collecting little figures up and talk to her about them while you're doing it.

Whilst I do play with then with her it’s not really helping her to improve

It fosters communication, reciprocity and trust. You can make games with them, counting or sorting by colour, making them talk to each other etc. Use an intensive interaction approach.

You can still try and do the other things too. She may want to do them again soon.
