how do i cope? been given diazepan to put up her bum when shes in them longer than 5 mins, waiting to see lots of specialist, what do i ask my minds all over the place at the moment! as any ones little had these since being so young? please i need to know i can talk to some one

hi chloe done a few things diffrently this week, she was happy playing on floor then in seconds went purple like she was going to explode then a horrible scream came out of her mouth, i picked her up she was ok, but it was like she counldnt breath, she as done this 2 times now also she had a small sezure whatever last night she postured for about 5 mins then she came out of it, this was 4 24 this morning, then at 6 30 she went limp once again i panicked roused her then was a little sick and was ok. but yesterday eveving she was not her self and as i was holding her evey few mins she was jumpy like a lot of small sezures. am really scrared feel like we never know whats shes going to do! i just want some kind of answers

Hi Trace, ill admit that Ive only had time to skim these posts so I cant pretent to know the situation fully.

Have you heard of Sandifer syndrome???Its a severe type of relux which present with seziure types movements but EEG is clear.

This may be a totally useless suggestion and if it is the I apologise and just dis-regard. I just wanted to throw it in there incase it was of some use but as I said I dont know your full story.

thank you yes i have been thinking more of reflux with some things and Sandifer syndrome like the last few days, we know she as reflux but ph probe says only little not enough to cause Sandifer syndrome, and he pead who specielizes in gasric says the postures she does for 7 hours are not reflux or Sandifer syndrome, so maybe yes i think there two problems with her, she is being treated for reflux anyway the top meds she can have, its the going unconcous and the posturing whats confusing them.
