The title basically says it, is there any mums that have special needs babies/children and are working, even if it's part time? X

Yes, I've always worked. Hasn't always been easy sad in the early years we had to employ a nanny as DS was poorly too often to use a nursery/ childminder. I've been lucky that I can work flexibly ( school hours) and when I was employed my line manager had a child with very complex needs and was supportive of my need for flexibility. I now work for myself, almost full time. I don't work school holidays as DS would struggle with holiday clubs. It's hard work and I was tempted just throw it in so many times, but I'm so glad I kept going. It's very good for my own mental health. DH has always been great. His job is very demanding but we very much take a team approach. Our family life is super-busy, and there's not much sleep going on at the moment. We also travel a lot and have various other commitments ( charity trustees etc). Other people think that we are crazy ( both working, taking our SN son interrailing etc.) but we are happy and it works for us,

I work full time. Worked part time when ds was younger. Ds needs 24/7 supervision and always will do.
It's not easy but Is possible

yes, I have always worked - full time for most of their childhood but went down to part time for a few years. It is very hard but I didn't have an option if I wanted to pay the mortgage.

Yes part time. And it's kept me sane. Also means dh has to get his act together and do his part.

Yes, part time, but sometimes feels like even that is too much.
