Reins for older children?

I have an 8 year old daughter who has asd. I need reins for her as she’s becoming increasingly difficult outside (runs in road, runs off, won’t hold my hand.) can anyone help with where I can buy some as the only ones I can find are toddler ones and the ones aimed at children with asd (hobbledehoo) seem to go up to age 8 so need something for an older child as she’s quite big for her age.

If the Crelling reins aren’t suitable, you might want to look at Children’s Harnesses by Elaine. We tried the Crelling reins for our daughter a few years ago but ended up getting a harness from Children’s Harnesses by Elaine.

Buckling it up is a little awkward at first, but fine once you’ve done it a few times. There are also various options you can have if you need them (the extra things we ordered have definitely helped). DD is 13yo now and while we use it less and less, we still use it fairly often and it looks like new – the quality is great. There’s still lots of adjustment to make it bigger as well. Perhaps an option if the Crelling reins don’t work for you.
