Davros- Donna Williams did seem to think the alarms were likely to work, but I couldn't face the having to get up at the sound of a buzzer in the middle of the night and was worried about it upsetting sleep (especially mine mwah ha ha ). So I chickened out of even trying! Must admit not having the wet bed every morning is wonderful though.....

The thing that "sold" me on trying an alarm is a friend who has a DD with SN (not ASD) who is in her late teens. She was skeptical but it worked in just a few days!! I must get to grips with it..... after the holidays.....!

I worship you all. YOur stamina and strenth GOBSMACKS me. My kids may be wearing and active, but I have my nightly crutch to look forward to - you all deserve the very highest of admiration!

Well Ds2 still gets up at 4-4.30 am for the day, this has been going on for nearly 2 years, we have tried everything to get him to sleep or stay quiet in his room but it just doesnt work. Problem now is dd wakes at anytime after 10pm and frequently it's 1am before she is asleep, I can't sleep in the day as it's the school holidays. When ds2 starts school and dd playgroup for 3 mornings in September my fingers are crossed that there is an improvement. If not they are going on ebay lol.
