I’d like to read something of the above, from a female teens point of view being diagnosed and living with ASD.

Happy to read online or buy Amazon books any recommendations are welcome.

It's fiction but you might try Rachel Lucas's "The State of Grace" - she is autistic as is her daughter, and the story is about an autistic teenage girl.

I think Katy (Invisible i) on YouTube was diagnosed in her late teens - so you could try her videos too.

Otherwise most of the autistic women I'm aware of were either diagnosed as children or not until adulthood. Some of them do talk about what it was like to be an autistic teenager though. E.g. Laura James' "Odd Girl Out" talks about her teenage years (though she didn't find out she was autistic until her 40s).

If you're on Twitter, try asking for recommendations on Twitter using the hashtag #askingautistics and you will get loads I'm sure.

I haven't read it yet, but have recently bought a book called "Can you see me?" by Libby Scott and Rebecca Westcott. It says it's about an 11yo autistic girl and contains diary entries written by Libby Scott based on her own experience of autism. So not quite a teenager but may be of interest?? Amazon reviews are very good, I'm going to read it as soon as I've finished my current book!
