Advice needed on Ehcp and part time hours

Please kindly advise me. My DD1 has been on reduced time table 2 hours a day since September. I have applied for Ehc plan for her, we are currently waiting on the LA to let us know if she will be issued with a plan. All the assessments have being done and I was told that it takes a while to get one issued. I really want my DD1 to be in full time education this September. She is quite academic and I feel it’s having a devastating impact and her and even on our family life as I have had to give up my job and this has had a huge impact on our finances. Please what can I do. I have spoken with the inclusion officer but it seems no one has a clue about what to do. I am just hoping that the Ehc plan gets finalised before September but if not what options do we have.

What's the schools justification for the reduced timetable? What's their reintegration plan? Are they officially excluding her every day? How is she being supported to keep up with the curriculum? Is she being discriminated against because of a disability and if so, why?

Sorry lots of questions and you don't have to answer them but they are what you should be asking the school, and you should do it in writing and copy in EVERYONE (and I mean everyone, the EHCP casework team, the inclusion officer, the director of children's services for your area, your MP...)

The school have no integration plan. They said they do not have the fund as she may need 1-1. She is easily distracted. I spoke with child law advice and equality advisory support and I was told it is discrimination based on disability.
Do you think I should write an email and send to all the people you have mentioned. I have spoken to everyone Including Ehcp key worker, inclusion officer, sendiass but all are very unhelpful... I am really stuck .

I'd send the email (to everyone )

That was what I was doing this time a year ago, when I was in an almost identical situation with my child. It tended to work, because shining a light on dodgy practises just does tend to work!

Thank you

Legally it should take 20 weeks from the initial request for assessment to the EHCP being issued. Info here:

Your daughter is entitled to full time education just like any other child. A part time timetable is classed as illegal exclusion.

Ring IPSEA for advice. You may have to keep checking for appointments.

You don't have to agree to a part time timetable. If you want your dd in school full time then simply tell the school she will be attending full time.

My ds isn't full time either and he does have an EHCP.

Why isn't your DS in full time education if he has an EHCP danni?.That sounds to me as if the EHCP is not fit for purpose and needs an urgent review.
