DD finally had her SALT appointment. I am a little confused, she interacted well and gave lots of eye contact which was good. Her play was apparently not age appropriate as she wouldnt feed the teddy with a spoon but then she feeds me with a spoon and her dolly, she doesnt particulaly like teddies so this could be why but when i mentioned this it was ignored. She played teasets with the therapist and attempted to say pour. Apparently I may be missing words that she is saying as she is not speaking clearly and that can be dealt with later. I feel awful, I feel as if the last 2 years I must have been ignoring her whilst dealing with ds2's autism. Having said that I know really that I havent. I have been on the Hanen and am using all the techniques I used with ds2 with dd but it seems they are not appropriate for her. I have another 6 months until we see her again and am a little unsure what to do now.
