What happens when they leave school and have to get a job?

Just that really.

My beautiful intelligent child really struggles with basic reading and writing due to severe dyslexia and dyscalculia (diagnosed through assessments), but they are bright and intelligent. If you met them and chatted to them you would have no clue that they had this disability. They are warm and engaging too, with great emotional intelligence.

I'm worried about what happens when they leave school. We are hoping they will pass at least English and Maths, with lots of support and scribes. But what then - what happens when they have to go and get a job?

Any parents of severe dyslexics/dyscalculias out there who can give me some hope?

I can't help as my severely dyslexic child is very young BUT some of the most successful people I know are dyslexic, some severely so. They have set up construction companies, worked as designers etc
