Looking for DS with dyspraxia and some attention challenges. Any views on the differences between the two would be much appreciated, TIA.

Seafood are majorly upping their game academically and trying to step away from their reputation as a ‘special needs’ school, so they have become a lot more picky with their intake.

It really depends how much support your DS needs both academically and socially if any. It’s a good school. I know people who have had children go all the way through the school with various SEN. I have a friend who decided that More House would help her son to develop from yr7 in a smaller and more nurturing environment and he is very happy there.

Thank Lara. He has not behavioural issues and v bright but needs dyspraxia style support and some prompting for focus, etc.
Am glad your friend settling in at MHS.

DS loved More House and got fantastic GCSE results, not quite so great A levels but still made it to Uni.

The school is outstanding in the support it offers boys with additional needs. I understand it is increasingly difficult to get a place these days, so probably worth investigating sooner rather than later.

Brilliant, thanks for your insight. Glad he did well there. It seems v in demand!

I am looking at MHS for my 9 year old but concerned about how difficult it will be for him to settle in as he is not very independent at the moment. Did you find them very supportive of individual needs?

Hi there, I saw one post from a mum whose DS started at More House this year and she said he has settled in really quickly and the staff have been very supportive.
