T-wrap restraint

Hello, is there any one who can explain exactly what a t-wrap restraint is please?
This was used on my son today at school. I expect it involves him being held but would like to clarify as the school is now closed for half term.
His behaviour at school has not been good of late but he has been excellent at home.

Thanks

If I remember right, the t-wrap/wrap is when the child has their arms crossed in front of them, hands on their hips and their hands/wrists are being held to their body by the adult. The adult stands behind them facing sideways (so the adult and child's bodies form a T shape). It is a very common restraint used with children as they can be safely brought to sitting position if necessary and it is hard for either party to get seriously injured. The school should be able to tell you how long he was held in that position for a why it was necessary.

Thanks for the information. I will talk to school after half term.
