Anxiety about wobbly teeth

Hi, was wondering if anyone had any advice on dealing with anxiety over wobbly teeth. Dd is 5 and has asd she has got a wobbly tooth and has been refusing to eat or drink all day. She has already had a tooth fall out but it was quite traumatic for her as it came out when she fell and wasn’t wobbly before hand. Has anyone had to deal with this before as she was having a complete meltdown because she was thirsty but refused to drink anything in case her tooth fell out and I am getting worried that she isn’t eating or drinking.

Have you used social stories with your child before? I’d do a social story about teeth getting wobbly and falling out, and how it’s not a problem to eat and drink as normal the entire time.

Yes, wobbly teeth were a nightmare here. I would offer drinks with a straw and easy food, offer painkillers too. Don't minimise how it feels, just be practical.
