GFCF kid too skinny

My DS is 6 and has been on a GFCF diet for a year now with great success EXCEPT that he is increasingly skinny. His appetite is good and he will eat large portions, but he is also very active and does lots of sports (good for those so-so motor skills ...). And I guess most of the food I give him simply is not very fattening. Any other GFCF families have any ideas on how I can fatten him up? thanks!!

the highest calorie foods that i can think of that my ds1 ate whilst on the diet were salmon , nuts, homemade muffins, tescos free from jam tarts , homemade biscuits made from things like ground almonds, does he like the bread you make because my ds filled uop on that in the form of lots of toast and veg marg, bananas smoothies with whatever milk thing you use, potato wedges made with olive oil, soya puddings if he can have that or rice pudding made with rice milk, health food shops do lots of sunflower seed gf free snack bar type things, baked beans added to most things like shepherds pie or chilli ups the calories - we had suma ones i think.

I know what you mean about them being skinny! my boys are both on the diet and like beanpoles - they have cakes, biscuits, soya yoghurts and the provamel desserts, if you make your own bread its got quite a lot of oil in it...

So long as their weights within normal range for their height, don't worry about it.
