dd is doing REALLY well. but cos of her cp I think she will always need to wear something.turns out you can get padded real washable pants. how cool.
I have been having guilt attacks at the amount of landfill we are using so they will be more eco friendly. anyone used them?

I have used washable "training pants" (well Ds2 has ) - they are pretty good - they do hold quite good volumes without leaks, although they are a little bulky. We got them from the charity that deals with incontinence products but I can't remember the name at the moment. Is that what the nurse was talking about - if not I will try and remember the name as they had quite a few useful products (swimming stuff etc). In fact we are about to tackle toilet training (again) so the pants will probably be making a reappearance .

she described them as having lacy fronts and looking like pants.

PHP (the personal products bit not the baby devision) is where I got cloth absorbant pants for for my DS. I also got some from another company made by Martex, but found these too tiny on the waist for my child to pull down. (I have a plain white martex 5-6 if you would like it sent to try, washed but never used as waist too tight, my DS is tall)I remember seeing pretty ones in one of the catalogues! They are a bit bulky ( like pull ups are) under trousers. Not absorbant enough for overnight use at least for my DS.

Forgot to say they are like normal comfy pants with a fixed pad inside. I remember seeing girly ones with stars/ dots with ribbon trim made by Ganmill I think. Sorry can,t remember the company you could google it.HTH

my dd1 has sn. she's 3 now. she'll probably not be toilet trained any time soon. she goes from doing very runny poo's to very solid. how do you get reusables?

thanks for the replies and the offer but as dd is 12 i don't think it will fit.

ERIC is the organisation I was on about. They do have some proper looking girl's pants here.
