We’re talking name calling to us (parents) and kicking/hitting us when there is a noise she cannot tolerate.

Any effective ways to reduce the behaviour?

Thanks

Thanks,
I’ve tried to give her alternative ways but she won’t do them, or she will for a day or so and no longer.

Unfortunately, it’s the noises that can’t always be helped which are tricky - sneezing, coughing, sniffling, even sighing.

We are using ear defenders where they may help her.

I coughed when I woke up the other morning and she stormed into the room, carrying a small, but full trolley suitcase over her head with the intention of clobbering me over the head with it as i lay in bed. H caught her and stopped her. She then grabbed my mobile and started slamming it over and over into my head. The other day she stormed into the room and kicked me. She has erratic behaviour like pulling objects over, grabbing ceiling lights, climbing on things, throwing objects, hitting.
It does go up and down. I guess change of routine hasn’t helped anxiety levels this week bless her and we’re all under the weather.

So Dd is exhausted and despite spending a lot of time relaxing and playing in bath, is v sensitive to any noise, shouting, growling, threatening us and calling us names.

Also, won’t do ANYTHING we ask.
