Does this sound like behaviour associated with Autism and perhaps emotion regulation/temper.
I was just sat with my DD and we were watching BGT on catch up. I started just very slightly “bopping” along to the music (lol) and my DD (age 7) shouted stop and then kicked my hand holding a hot cup of tea, which went all over the place, including me. She doesn’t know why she did it, she said it poss makes her feel embarrassed. Not the first time it’s happened.
She’s also so impatient, aggressive (threw a plate at Husband this morning when he said no to something)
Won’t say I love you (think I’ve heard her say it once), not v cuddly.
Just came home from party where she didn’t speak and was clingy with me and instantly and urgently rummaged through drawer for coins, putting them in pile on bench. Then changes into warm fleecy clothes as she finds soft clothes a comfort, despite it being over 20degrees.
The other day she had a public meltdown and tried to attack a man as he blew his nose and she can’t tolerate that noise. I had to restrain her.
Her recent ASD assessment was inconclusive and they are now focusing on anxiety.
She does have OT support for sensory and motor skills.
She has Selective Mutism and Sensory Issues.
I just don’t know if all anxiety related or ASD and she’s been under assessment since she was 3...
