My friend’s DD is 9 and has Down Syndrome and I look after her and her brother and sister three evenings a week and about every other Sunday afternoon, but while we’ve had friend’s DS1 and DD2 over before this will be our first time hosting DD1 overnight as well.
Obviously I know how important following her bedtime routine is, and I’m going to let her choose whose room she sleeps in (and givd her the option of a room to herself, though I doubt she’ll take it). But I was just asking for ways from those who know far more than me on how to make the whole sleepover as easy (and fun - she’s very excited!) for her and how to help her in the morning and help her settle if she wakes up in the night?
