I have a 4 year old who has sn but no diagnosis.
He has seen SALT for past year and his speech has come on brilliantly. He has had the preschool kelf assement done that has come out as average but SALT say that there are anomalies in this with how he presents. He presents with grammaical imamturates. He is also difficult to understand as his speech isn't clear. His sentencing structure is often muddled and he often uses unusual or incorrect words. She also said it's difficult to understand is ideas and thought patterns and that he will often randomly go off subject and try control what's going on.
Just lately he he's been talking about red things.
He said that the red things tell him to do naughty things and are in his brain and in his eyes. He says the red things are told what to do by the bigger green thing who uses rainbow paint to tell them. He says the red things don't like alot of things and make him be naughty because they don't like it. He said the red things bounce around in his brain and try damage it. He says the red things make him very upset. After talking about them we will say mummy are my eyes red and when I say no he will say good the red things have gone again.
Do you think he's trying to explain something? Do I need to mention this to his professionals?

They wear navy at nursery.

Today he said the the green controls his voice and he does it every mornings.
He also told me today that his favourite number is 10 as it has 0range in it.

That's a really good idea. I will do that. He's obviously trying to tell us something.
