Check this out.

Even more evidence (as if we need it) of efficacy of ABA.
The university where I am doing my MSc in ABA was also involved in this research (although not mentioned...grrr)

This is going to be big..mark my words

HI electra, I am in luxembourg.
Would be much easier if the consultant would travel, he could see DS in his own environment, but I dread to think of the cost, I guess I'd have to pay for hotels, etc.

Thanks for all your infor everyone! I know there is a lot of work involved in ABA but I don't care, I feel so positive thinking that this might help DS. I will certainly e-mail you moondog and kitegirl. I have to go now to give Ds his bath (running a bit late today!).

By the way gess, may I say, you son is so handsome, he looks lovely.

Soon I'll review Growing Minds, and Help us Learn. I need time to do both justice - have been applying for research grants over the last few weeks so haven't had time. Do check back though.......

We're coming to the end of 6 months with GM. I am going to stop (can't afford anymore), but I do think they've been really helpful, and got us going, and started, and with a solid foundation. They got me to probe reading this week and he definitely has some reading skills. Which I'm a bit flabbergasted by...... On our workshop there were people from all over including Singapore. That's another choice- go on lots of workshops and kind of train yourself.....

also depends on the child's development I think. when we introduced ABA 3 years ago working with ds1 was hard, hard work. Now it's really much easier. Finding myself with ds2 out and ds3 asleep I said "ds1 shall we go and o some work" this afternoon and he bounded down the stairs to his table. That just wouldn' have happened 3 years ago.
