I am working with a young adult on my own over Christmas. He has cerebal palsy and non verbal. I can't take him out of the house as not insured yet to take company car. What activities can I do with him in the house that he might enjoy? I can bring him for walk but that's about as exciting as it can get! Had thought of baking but he is peg fed so pointless! There isn't much in the house for him that I could see so would need to bring stuff with me. Thank you

Baking isn’t pointless even if he’s peg fed. He could help you to make the dough for cookies etc which would be a good sensory experience. Think of things that engage the senses like touch taste smell etc.

Thanks, I've thought about bringing shaving foam, bubbles and lego with me. It's a 12 hour shift so it's going to be a long day looking at each other.
