Hi,
The more and more I see how much DS (12) struggles with English (and to be honest, most subjects which involve abstract thought), the more I worry that he won’t pass GCSE English language....let alone literature.
He has high functioning ASD and needs constantly prompting.
Are there options for children like him to not even try and sit GCSEs, or at least be put in for a lower level or do them in case they’re successful or also do a lower level course alongside?
Otherwise, surely the likelihood is that they will take English gcse and fail them.
