When I saw that JJ had 'morphed' I knew why. Haven't seen the word 'bitch', exactly, but have seen JJ get lots of snarky pressure, and / or be expected to be everywhere helping out on specific q's - must be hard work!

He roared up on a motorbike while we were all having lunch on a shoot with his then girlfriend Carole Bouquet, who had just miscarried his baby . he just appeared in all his bike leathers, and sat down with her and gave her his total laser-focussed attention, asking how she was, showing her a new script and stuff. Then he sort of opened up, started asking questions of people - their names, what they did, really interested. Lots of eye contact etc, hands being shaken. A very vivid, larger than life, sweep-you-off-your-feet sort of person. Extremely charismatic.
