DS is small country school. Only 8 kids in his class. DS is 9 with autism. He is intellectual and bright with poor social skills.
A bit in his class constantly good him until he breaks and eventually his the kid. DS doesn't have an anger filter its 0 to 60. He hates injustice and broken rules. The constantly tries to get DS in trouble.,. By making him the "it" in every game... Singing DS is it and he can't handle it in his face. DS is trying to walk away from a game that he knows causes anxieties but the kid won't let him.
I'm at a loss....
Help please .!!!

Ok... they clearly need to do more.

You might find Dawn Huebner's 'What to do when your temper flares' a useful resource to do over the holidays.

Have you read 'The Explosive Child'?

Thanks Polter.... Yes I have... ! We have the anger rules written out and on his door.
They suspect he has ADHD too but need to get referral to CAMHS or whatever they call themselves nowadays...I was hoping we'd get enough support from that ASD DX.

You have just brought back some unpleasant memories as playing tig used to be a trigger point for my two. School did anger management sessions with mine too but with little effect. I think this is because the anger was not the fundamental problem rather that anxiety and poor social skills were. What worked better for my two were strategies to help overall anxiety and support during group work / playground sessions so an adult could started to go wrong. We did get a statement to help provide this support for my two but behaviour had got pretty dire (lots of exclusions) by that point. School were also helpful in coming down hard on those little charmers who deliberately provoked a meltdown (and unfortunately there were a few who found it entertaining to do so).
