Good luck!

eidsvold · 20/03/2007 21:51

oh god - so am I I am sooooo over this pregnancy - think the heat has really taken its toll - thankfully this week it is a little cooler - high 20's rather than mid 30's.

Also pleased I am really busy this week even if I am knackered at the end of each day. The last few weeks have really dragged.

The dds are getting excited although dd2 has turned into a real mummy's girl. only wants mummy - even being shy around dh.

Thanks for all your best wishes. Will probably be home Tues/Wed next week.

eidsvold · 21/03/2007 06:33

dd2 is so excited - she wants to hold the baby's hand and pat the babe's head. I think for dd1 it is all too abstract - but she has been such a helpful big girl lately - getting herself dressed and ready in the morning, doing all sorts of things and of course asking us if she is being a big girl.

Be interesting to see how each deals with the reality of the new baby. (along with dh and I of course)

coppertop · 21/03/2007 19:21

High 20's is relatively cool? Yikes!

cool enough for me to do a good clean through the house and finish ironing before I head off tomorrow. Dh will have enough to contend with - in the two monkeys let alone worrying about anything else.

Figure if I give the house a thorough clean - won't have to do much for a few weeks - not nesting though in case you are wondering - just being practical.

eidsvold · 21/03/2007 21:21

it does feel weird though - saw dd1's kindy teacher at a committee meeting last night and she wished me all the best and then said - wow - the next time I see you - I'll see less of you and you'll have a baby!! hard to imagine as it has been so long coming.

eidsvold · 22/03/2007 10:00

right you lot - am all packed and organised. If it is not organised now - TOUGH had the pre op appt and blood tests. Just having dinner so I can have a snack later. No eating after midnight and nothing at all after 6.30am.

Due at hospital at 6.30am, surgery scheduled for 8.30am. So by about midnight Thursday - should be all over and we will have another mini eidsvold!!

coppertop · 22/03/2007 10:41

Good luck. I can't wait to hear about mini-Eidsvold the Third.
