Just had to read it to see what had been going on . Was all a bit of an over-reaction - even if people disagree I don't see why they have to be so aggressive.

Hi Anniebear,

Just wanted to say I agreed with your post on the other thread but also couldn't believe the reaction you got. Maybe some people have anger management issues?!! Well done for staying so polite!

anniebear · 28/02/2007 16:18

Thank you

I want to say thank you to the people that said nice things but dont want to bump it up in case any others start up again!

we all have our different points of view

(although of course mine was right )

But I don't understand why it gets a bit nasty and sarcastic, it's like they want confrontation

Thank you

I've just read the other thread. I won't bump it up again but just wanted to say that I thought you were very calm (and reasonable of course ).

Tiggiwinkle · 28/02/2007 17:04

I have read it too, but wont post on it for same reason as Coppertop. You had a perfectly valid point Anniebear; I would not have liked the child being brought to stand amongst the others either. You keep them at home because they are infectious-dont most school and nurseries insist that you keep a child suffering from v and d off for at least 24 (or is it 48) hours afterwards?

has taken me ages to find the thread(have now posted) how do I join the in club

anniebear · 28/02/2007 21:50

Lol thank you

It was my own stupid fault. I am usually so careful what and were I post

and there are some subjects that people just seem to jump at

I think half the time people are too scared to say their opinion (usually me lol) coz they are scared of being shouted at!!

It just took one or 2 to post then at least lots of others said they agreed with me, phweeee

Thank you

a tummy bug might mean nothing to the next parent (although I don't see how) But when your child has special needs, a cold can be horrendous, let along a tummy bug!!!!

I've just read (some of) the other thread too...

I think you are absolutely correct! I would not want a sick child leaning over my child's pushchair either.

And there is no way in the world I would let my sick child get close to another child in any case either.

Mumsnetters hey???? Can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em....

anniebear · 02/03/2007 10:19

Thanks!
