Is there a set criteria that a child has to meet to get reasonable adjustments in exams and tests?
DC has a series of SN all of which make studying and writing harder than they are for others. He is also very bright. However unless he is supported in his tests, he cannot reach his potential and demonstrate his ability.
They say as he doesn't have these accommodations each day he doesn't qualify. The reason he doesn't is because there aren't enough reassures. He would do much better with them everyday. But he isn't failing so they won't give them. So why is it ok not to supply them then?
Are there tests he can take? Criteria he can meet? Why is it so bastarding hard to get help for our kids?
