behind her lower incisors (milk teeth still very firmly in place?!).

I ended up being a blubbing wreck - she's so little still and this just seems to early. My little baby . She's such a cute little girl and it's difficult to be reminded that she won't always be so small and cute.

She'll be 6 in a couple of months so I guess chronologically it's ok, but her last milk teeth only erupted about 8 months ago.

Guess I need to ring the dentist today...

My DD2 also has the same issue.

She had her two front teeth removed in October 2005 as they were fused together (part of her condition) but hopefully her adult teeth will come through normal.

Because of her condition, she has been under the paediatric dentist at the local hospital and at our last check up he mentioned that he thought it would not be long before she started getting her adult teeth.

She has not lost any teeth naturally but now has 3 back molars, top and bottom left hand side and bottom only right hand side.

Now it does not look as though there is enough room for any more adult teeth to come through (unless she loses some first).

We have a check up in a few weeks so I will see what the dentist says then.

It's very normal for the adult ones to appear behind, and they suddenly do come loose and fall out. At least she won't look gappy !

Fio fio, I think that you're in Kent? Could you tell me where you take your DD to see a SN's dentist?

Thank you

I was also amazed to look in Ds2's mouth a few days ago and see his front lower incisors were wobbly. A few days later and they are both out. He is 5y 5m so it seems quite young especially as his brother (2years older has only just lost the same teeth) and both boys had their milk teeth come through very late (11-12m in Ds2's case).

So it set me wondering whether the Eskimo Kids oils have anything to do with it and I wondered if any of you whose children take fish oils regularly saw their teeth come through earlier than you expected? This isn't a totally random thought - the reason I thought it is that Ds2's outer two top incisors didn't come down at all until he was 21/2 although all his other teeth had. But when they did come down it was a few weeks after I first started him on fish oils. I know there is some relationship between neurological development and tooth eruption so I wondered if there was a connection.

ds, who takes fish oils, lost his first tooth at 6 1/2 having got them by 5 months so didn't see that correlation Saker.

Thanks FioFio. Can I ask which school your DD goes to? The options for my DS seem are St Nichs or Meadowfields
