took dd to the hair dressers. she was so sweet laughing and telling him to hurry up. stole his heart(he only charged £5) and gave her a brush)
there were 2 woman in there and one didn't stops saying "oh bless her" drove me up the wall.
I know she was being kind but dd never sneezed so why bless her.
does this wind you up??

wouldn't know as no one has ever said that about ds lol.

actually thats a lie, there was an old lady who was walking with a frame and coughing like mad, he went up to her and said "are you alright...do you want me to phone an ambulance"

She was really lovely and kept telling me what a lovely boy i had an that i should be very proud, which of course i am. it was so lovely to hear someone say something nice about Ds for a change.

I can absolutely 100% see where you are coming from on this.

not quite the same I know but I have a cousin who had luchemia as a child. First diagnosed at age 3, went through treatments etc and did have a rough time but is now fine. And my mother especially, when she talks about him keeps saying "aw bless his little cotton socks". Yes I sympathise with the fact he went through a serious illness, some 20 years ago but fgs he's 27 now and they treat him as if he came through the illness without the capasity to be a human being. it infuriates me beyond belief!

So you have my sympathy

Its amazing how many people come to work/volunteer at our school (SN) to help the 'poor little darlings'

They don't last

mmmm, dont like the 'poor little darlings' bit i must admit, nothing poor about my boys, they are both healthy and happy and they dont know any different to what they are i did work in a special school before i had either of my little 2, absolutely loved it, the kids were brilliant, and mainly very happy, they are only poor in our eyes, because we know different, although seeing some of them in pain was another matter.
