Help - being assessed without informing parents again

It was final evidence deadline on Friday for tribunal and the LA and school allowed someone to assess my son without informing me. I found out when the LA served evidence. I need to check dates but I think this manager piggy backed in by going with with a SLT that was aware if. I raised a formal complaint about this last time and it was upheld at stage two by the LA. I also raised it with the head and governer but they said permission was assumed as it was tribunal. I told them not to assume as there is law in the sencop. He just got defensive and wouldn't assure me it wouldn't happen again.

The school are submitting a response and the LA has asked for a extension for that. I dread reading my emails now. Last time the school let the tribunal clerk watch my son getting changed for PE ( to show he's not dyspraxic ) I don't even know if these people are Crb checked. The school let's any in and doesn't see why I need to know.

Jeepers!! They sound like complete idiots!! WTF would a clerk know about dyspraxia and why are the school trying to prove he doesnt have it!

Gee whizz!! I dont need to remind myself why we have escaped from it, when I read this crap!!

So sorry 2boys I have no advice Sad

It will be eyebrow raising reading the schools statement. The head told me the statement was rubbish in May!

LlA reps are not allowed to give evidence at hearings. So that's one rule broken.

I emailed this new rep reminding her not to do this twice, she didn't listen it seems.

I also emailed the sence three weeks ago asking her to clarify something - completely ignored. I wrote to her and emailed last week as she has cut and pasted a defunct IEP target into two Ieps. She hasn't shared results with me either. Yet I'm sure the statement will be I'm a shit parent.

They can blank me, not give me IEP progress even when I ask for it and include interventions they aren't doing in his IEP.

If I could go back in time, I never would have started this.

Oh my 2boys I actually cannot fathom why the LA and school are still playing against the rules. I can believe it - just can't fathom why!

If your ds has a dx of dyspraxia then why would a non qualified person watching him dress be anything other than intrusive rather than helpful?
Can you get a FOI or subject access request to find out their qualifications for dx of dyspraxia and whether they are dbs checked or not?

I think I will start another official complaint this week but in random complain to the hcp the woman belongs too. Let's try to hit it that way. She is a senior manager, she hasn't checked if I have given permission twice now. She's a gun ho reckless fecker so I will try that approach

Send a formal complaint to the governors, pointing out that letting people assess your child without your permission is assault, and letting an unqualified stranger watch your child getting changed for PE is definitely abusive. Point out that it's a safeguarding issue. I agree that spreading your net wider to the health authorities is a good idea.
