Is 4 too young for retained reflex therapy?

Ds is 4.6 and under investigation for HFA. I came across a few threads on RRT and am looking into it for ds. I looked at INPP's website but I think they treat kids from 7. I would be grateful for any advice and recommendations for a therapist in London.

Can't recommend but both ds's have had RRT and I would definitely recommend it. My understanding was that the earlier they had the therapy the better and that changes in the brain were harder (though not impossible) after the age of 7.

ds2 (8) had RRT from age 4 as he has dyspraxia - it has made a big difference to his balance and co-ordination and stopped him falling off chairs. It was fascinating being shown the retained reflex in action and understanding how that was affecting him in every day life.

ds1 (10) had RTT from age 6 (they started at the same time) - this has helped with some of his anxiety - he has since been dx HFA. I think it made less difference to him, but I was willing to try anything for an improvement.

I don't think 4 is too young!

Sound Learning Centre also does retained reflex therapy ( www.thesoundlearningcentre.co.uk/treatment/development-programme/ ) and I can't see anything on there that says what age to do it.

But certainly the earlier the better.
