Well a full 20 months thats 80 weeks and 3 tribunals later xxxxx council have managed to issue a completely unlawful "proposed" statement for Dd3! No hours, only one thing specified and quantified and SALT in part 6!! You would have thought that as this is probably one of the last statements they will ever issue, they would be able to get it right!! Come on xxxxx Council !!! Really!!!

'Oh and apparently they mistakenly sent us the wrong version of draft 1 with no hours on yeah right and it should have had 17.5 hrs per week on it!'

He he. I wonder, if you had agreed to the no hours version, if they would realise their mistake and improve it?

(Actually I don't wonder at all)

Funnily enough star that is exactly what our advocate said when I told him!!

Its awful to think that other parents might except the crap that they put into statements/ehcp's thinking that the LA know what they are doing and or might follow the law!!

The new deputy manager had been given the version with hours on Hmm It all makes you more cynical doesnt it!!

Yay! Your getting there. My la working doc still refers to the mysterious Ryan. If you can't even agree to amend the name then god help me. Your la are not as bad as mine it seems. Mine say "access to13 hours of TA" is specified and quantified. Wink I have asked my la if they need me to scan in his appendix too as they don't know what I'm talking about quoting from it.

Sigh.

I think this new deputy has been bought in to help sort out the mess 2boys my LA is only small but they are going to tribunal left right and centre and last yr refused 87% of parental requests! The advocate we have been using has been to something like 28 tribunals for local families and only lost 2!!

The situation is awful. The sentence they put in about hours is the most vague piece of crap ever.

I have requested that it be changed and 2 people I know have recently had similar changes agreed, so we will see.

The statementing officer suggested that he wanted it sorted before he breaks up on the 20th for the whole summer, he works term time only so it will be interesting to see if he just agrees to everything to make me go away Wink

Hey ho, just keep swimming!!

My la are one of the biggest. They are in right mess tbh. La is in four quadrants ( who can guess my La) and I'm well into the 40th appeal that been lodged since May.

Shame I can feel no pity for them. Maybe if they didn't spout such drivel I could put down to being over worked.

I hope yours is finalised before end of term, god wouldn't that make a nice hassle free change?
