Has anyone used Fast For Word as a reading programme?

Have read great things about this programme and is designed by neuroscientists in order to help children with SEN 're wire' their brains. Ie. improving the child's capacity for learning rather than just try cramming more and more information.
It's supposed to be particularly good for children with short term memory issues. It does look good in my opinion but is a lot of money so thought I would ask here whether anyone had heard of it/used it.
Thanks

never heard of it. How much is it?

are you after a reading programme? have you heard of Headsprout? Not that cheap either. I very much recommend that. there is a 14 day free trial too.

Hiya, thanks choc-yes, I have used headsprout in the past and it was great to begin with but then my son became very demotivated with it and actually started screaming when I suggested we use it.
I have made books with limited words on each page and pictures of particular animals (his thing) which motivates him a little bit more but getting him to read is a very laborious task.
