Are you still on the statementing route? If so, 7:74 & 7:75 of the 2001 SEN Code of Practice is where you need to go.

For the new Code of Practice, some feeble-looking guidance in 6:59 or thereabouts....

Old process as a statement was ordered. So my issue was three assessments over three days I only knew about was reports was served for tribunal, when I had asked to be informed. I wanted to be informed as I had paid for private assessment and I didn't want tests repeated. School or la have not answered my questions why they didn't inform me, neither will they comment about informing me in the future.

Not good if I want private tests done or very grown up and civilised.
