We have been BH. I didn't get exit passes as we have always gone in term time and found it bearable. My ds can queue for around 10 mins so that was the most we waited for. However, I do know my local NAS branch will provide a letter for disney guest services.
Both my little ones have more problems with crowds around them so didn't really bother with parades or shows.
Has she been to chessington and done rides etc before? I ask because my friend took her asd dd recently and they had never been anywhere like it before. The little girl refused to go on any rides at all, although she did do parades and shows.
We have been twice and all the children have loved it.

Ps. They were terrified in The Rainbow Forest Cafe way too much sensory stuff for them and we left without eating.

we took our three to disneyland paris, we did get an exit pass but we only used it once cos DS wanted to go on a ride that DD's didn't want to go on and it would have been difficult for the girls to wait.
we were ok with the queing as my three knew what they were waiting for so it was ok for them, 30 mins was the longest wait think that was the peter pan ride? my three were frightened of the rainforest cafe and the crocodile outside!
macdonalds breakfast is different to the uk stuff and my lot were less than impressed with it!

Hi, we have been to Disneyworld, Florida 4 times with our three children. DS2 has Autism. We had our first trip when he was 7 and our latest trip was this july when he was 16. Each time has been amazing and wonderful for all of us and Disney staff are brilliant. They are not to be faulted in the help they give us as a family with a special needs child/adult. We have always had a Guest Assistance Pass given to us. The way it is used has changed slightly over the years due to the introduction of the Fast Pass queue. You used to use the GAP to gain entry via the exit of a ride, now you can just use the Fast Pass queue without having to get a fast pass ticket time. This means the wait is no longer than 5 - 15 minutes out of high season. July this year was our first trip in high season and during school holidays and it was much busier. Some waits were around 40 minutes which our son found difficult. However, if it is really difficult a quick word in the ear of a member of staff and you are added in at the very front of the queue. This was especially helpful in Animal Kingdom with the new expedition everest ride where the queues were in full sun and were taking around an hour or more. We spoke to a member of staff and told them our son could not stand the heat or the lengthy wait and we were immediately let through. Fantastic. We have never had to show any evidence of our son being autistic. We did take a doctors letter with us but they said they were not allowed to read it. You can also use your disabled badge for parking and your GAP will also gain you access to special seating areas in shows and parades. These areas are not just for pysically disabled people. Hope that helps. Have a great time!
