What phrases do you hear multiple times a day?

I get the same things from ds1 and ds2 over and over again all day every day. I'm genuinely curious to see if others get these "filler" phrases as well.

Ours are:

I'm hungry (this can be literally 2 minutes after a meal)
I'm thirsty
What's that noise? Turn it off!
Do I have to?
I don't want to....
Do you want to know something about Minecraft?
Can we have that? (something in an ad on telly)
What day is it?
What time is it?
Is it time for ds2 to go to bed yet? (from ds1, obviously Grin)
Can I have a screen?
Can we have takeaway for tea?

Can I have a milkshake?
Look, it's a Peppa pig (doll)! There's only so many times a day you can say with a shred of enthusiasm, "oh yes, it's a Peppa pig!"
Can I have a biscuit? whilst actually eating one.
Can I watch a DVD? Always Frozen at the moment.
Look, it's a sunny, rainy, cloudy day...whatever the weather happens to be its commented on over and over and over...

Mostly me saying
"Sshh, sshh it's ok, it's ok" while ds3 screams like a monkey. I think I'm really trying to tell myself it's ok.

Ds2 doesn't say a lot. Ds3 mostly screams or constantly pats me to get attention as he's non verbal.

My eldest nt boy loves mine craft. Ds2 was showing me far too fast and I wanted to be sick I had motion sickness!

Omg so many in this thread! From ds:

This is the worst day of my life
Did you know...
Why did you ask me if I wanted to xyz if you don't accept me saying no?
Is alive?
How old are they?
When did they die?
How old were they when they died?

For the last few months I've had statistics quoted numerous times a day from his marvel superheroes encyclopaedia, so many times a day I get:
"What do you think Mr Immortal/hawk eye/demolition man strength is, out of 7?"
Or "who do you think is faster, Titanium Man or Doctor Doom?"
Etc etc etc.

Sigh.

Virtually everything preceded by "mummy..." so he'll always get my attention and i never get away with not answering smart boy

spaghettisue · 23/02/2015 21:31

Oh yes, I get all questions preceded by Mummy too! Then Mummy. . . . Mummy. . . . . Mummy . . . . Until he gets my attention!

bialystockandbloom · 24/02/2015 22:49

"have I had my second banana" Grin

HugAndRoll · 26/02/2015 12:12

I was thinking the same thing about repetitive phrases!

DS1:

Am I going to dad's on Wednesday? (We're separated, he goes every Wednesday)
I'm hungry! (Alice this is straight after a meal too, I genuinely think it's filler conversation)
I'm thirsty! (As above)
Are we early or late? (Every morning when we arrive at school. We're usually just on time)
Can I go on the computer?
Did you know, on ...?
How many minutes until ?
How many minutes is left?
How many days is it my birthday? (He's nearly 7 but still talks like this)
Did go on my 2DS?
You need to do my eczema!
Did you do my cream?
What's for dinner? I DON'T WANT IT!
Was that funny?

There are more but these are the staples.

HugAndRoll · 26/02/2015 12:14

OH! And constant asking me maths questions:

What's a million times 35?
What's 14 x 12?
What's 7 x 13?

I'm good at maths so can answer most of them; he's in year 2 and knows the answers, and is quicker than me!

BlackeyedSusan · 26/02/2015 14:15

I had to restrict him to two bananas a day.

bialystockandbloom · 26/02/2015 21:34

susan we have that with apples in this house.

And the maths questions hug Grin
