I'm looking for a stroller that takes a larger child . My son can walk but stamina is a problem . Does anyone know of a small lightweight ish pushchair that fits the bill.. I have a mountain buggy swift which is fab for long walks but want something stylish and nice to push for town etc .. I'm sure I'm not the only one ..Confused

We had a Techno XLR for DD until age 5 ish. I also had a Chico Multiway stroller which was quite roomy - not particularly light but fine for town and getting in and out of the car/bus etc.

We have a techno XLR and a baby jogger versa that my 7 year old has ridden in occasionally (they belong to my one year old but she has hitched a ride a few times!).

Although she is too long for both, and her head sticks above the hood and her knees are up by her chin! But they both ok width wise and take her weight.

I've got to say the techno is difficult to push and steer with a heavier child in and is very rattly.

The baby jogger is much much easier, it's a 4 wheeled one so very stable.

I ended up buying a greentom upp .. It's light and very nice to push . He fits in it better than the MacLaren and it will keep us going a while . Thanks for the tips .
