i have know spursmum about 13years, and she used to live upstairs from me at the flats, so have know her ds from under a year old as well. her ds has autism, on the whole he was very well behaved. i did notice a few people giving him odd looks when screeching, and i wanted to be all protective and tell them why, but i figured spursmum wasnt saying a thing to anyone, and was focused just on her ds, so i didnt.

oooo that protective mothering urge just kicks in at times doesnt it?

i didnt have my dd2 with me, os was fairly relaxed (i try not to go into town with her as she kicks off a lot), i guess i am just used to prtecting lol.

I don't know anyone with SN child but I wish I did, it gets lonely if you know what I mean, only you guys on the SN threads understand what it is like.

oh arroonsmummy, you should come to the birthday parties round here, we have kids with autism, cerebal palsy, ADHD and my dd2 who is un-dx, then add food allergies with dd1, and children wearing glasses which get lost/bent/broken etc. its full on madness, but great fun!

oh I bet it is you are so lucky. I think when mine are all at school I will get some qualifications and try to work with SN kids. I wanted to do Nursery but my mind is changing.
