Boarding schools for A level dyslexic

Hello, my son is currently at a mainstream boarding school, which he loves. However he is borderline as to whether he will get into the sixth form (6 Bs at GCSE required). He is dyslexic, of average ability and is not that self motivated, close monitoring is required. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

Have a look on the crested website. Which area are you looking in?

Thank you BigBird69, I will. Looking in the South of England ideally. We are overseas so just need good air links.

Depending of severity, there's Moonhall in Leigh, surrey (v close to Gatwick!) or seaford college is more mainstream but has good support (and lovely!) otherwise for more specific learning difficulties maybe Slindon college or Northease.

The Moon Hall in Leigh isn't boarding although I think there may be another site. Also look at More House or difficulties less significant Box Hill , Ardingly and Worth all of which are relatively close to Gatwick.

Thanks very much, will have a look at them.

My dd school has excellent facilities for autistic and dyslexic children. It's a quaker school. Ackworth.

Frewen College has an excellent reputation for dyslexia, also Bethany School
