Because I so will. Not sure what I will do with said info. But wouldn't it be interesting to see how much a nhs salt is per hour and how many hours I could have got?

The LA have to put cost in the tribunal evidence. A lot of LAs have block contracts with NHS services like SALT and so record this as nil cost for an individual child - which is, of course, nonsense. My LA did not have a contract with OT and costed 1 hour per week at £3k a year - this might have been for an indi OT though as the statement stipulated that they have post-grad qualifications in sensory integration and access to Ayres equipment.

I lost a tribunal and FOI'd on costs. The FOI data clearly indicated that the LA had lied to Tribunal on the costs of an out of borough placement.. By the time the data came through in full, we were past the point where we could appeal.

There's a recent upper tier tribunal ruling that makes it a bit clearer that the LA has to include all relevant costs (so they can't hide behind block contracts, so example).

This really makes me angry. My LA initially claimed that the LA EP would not be able to see my dd for 6 months due to her being so busy. I applied for SA and she observed dd for half an hour and gave a few vague recomendations.

Once I appealed to SENDIST the LA EP was suddenly available to carry out a 2 hour standardised assessment and then attend 2 full day court hearings!

I dread to think how much money the LA wasted on opposing the appeal. Their constant demands for intimidating meetings with all of their 'professionals' involved, plus the confrence calls, assessments and letters must have cost far more than the therapy that I was requesting Sad .

If you get this information past the appeal deadline you can still appeal. If you can show that you didn't delay in digging out the information and therefore couldn't have appealed any earlier, they will normally accept the appeal.
