I would have thought it would depend on the level care you are giving? Are you expected to do any therapies or anything like that?
You can't charge more just because the child has autism.

Ask the parents that at interview, it will show them how much you know and understand about their child's needs.

Actually Frusso some places do. I had to pay more at an out of school club for DS as he needed 1:1 while there. I spoke to the council about it as well and they confirmed that the club were well within their rights to charge me more as they needed to have an extra staff member present solely for DS.
The extra charge was based on his needs though, not just on a diagnosis.

I don't know if it's legal but it was the only place that was willing to take him. All childminder were suddenly full when they realised he has ASD. It was the council that found the place for me and negotiated the cost etc so i assumed it was legit. He was only there a few months before he was kicked out anyway. They charged me double what they charged for the other kids.
