Sensory toys

I have a three year old child who has autism. He's a very sensory driven explorer. Loves lights and touching different textures. Also is very fascinated by water. He is however not a fan of loud noises. He can not communicate verbally and finds it hard to follow instruction. I was wondering if anyone can recommend any sensory toys. We already have a disco ball and fibre optics. He's not interested in your average plastic toys. He does loves trains if which we have a 100+ Thomas the tank wooden trains and train table. I would just love to buy him something and see his face light up with wonder. He is so hard to buy for. He loves being read to, it's one if his obsessions. And he already has an iPad which he uses regularly so if anyone has any suggestions for some sensory toys I'd be most grateful.
