Ds is being prescribed a invacare action 3 and I'm looking into ways of personalising it.
He won't have big wheels as he won't be self propelling which sadly means large spoke guards aren't an option (he rather liked the big smiley spokeguards).
I was wondering about outdoor fairy lights (would this interfere with the closing), dayglo stickers and leds. But was wondering what other people had tried?

Should add we already have a cars footmuff that I think should transfer across from the old sn buggy.

Could you make the Smiley faces for the smaller back wheels?

I wonder if something like the recycling bin stickers you can buy would be useful, you can get all sorts of different ones?

If not, at least I've bumped this up, i hope it doesn't go unnoticed.

We asked for big wheels even tho DS2 wasn't self propelling , because they are easier to turn with... you can ask!

Then we contacted the producers of Lazy Town (he was obsessed) to ask if we could use one of their images to have spoke guards made..and they actually designed the most amazing image for us, digitally..and free, which we had made at spokeart.com.

Kids used to follow us round the supermarket to admire his wheels, and when he outgrew them we passed them to another child:)

Definitely small wheels Sad need to find alternative options.

Really into lighting (both visually and safety-wise) in some way but not sure how

Maybe some reflective strips? Not very jazzy though.

What about two small fibreoptic torches on the handles

aldi have some flashing reflectors/lights in at the moment in red and silver. about 2 pounds for two I think.

halfords have snap bands in flourescent reflective colours that could be stuck on.
