DS is just 3yo and we have finally have our first appointment.
I'm really stressing about it as I don't do well with the unexpected!

What's likely to happen and how do I make sure I make the absolutely most of it?

I'm totally clueless too, it's only thanks to MN that we've got this far.
If I hadn't been advised on here to chase up the initial referral we'd still be waiting. Turns out they'd 'lost' it

Took over an hour of chasing my tail on the phone to finally get it sorted.

I'm not letting that happen again so will do exactly as you say.
Absolutely crazy that it's possible to diagnose in a day but they keep you waiting for years.
