Need a study desk for ds

Anyone know where I can order a sturdy desk and chair online only for ds. Which can be height adjusted to incorporate seat wedge and still enable his feet to reach the ground. Chairs cannot be on castors.

Preferably one with a tilting lid (which can act as writing slope).

I have been searching and searching and the one I can find does not look very sturdy and doesn't have a chair.

How old is your ds?

Don't know about the desk but the seat wedge can leave feet unable to touch the floor. We used a toolbox with pencils etc. in it as a footrest, use anything that's the right height.

Never bothered with a desk, just used the dining-table with a writing slope and seat wedge and aforementioned toolbox. Have you also looked at wooden garden furniture? Some of that seems small but sturdily built, it may extend your choice.

I really like the look of this one www.amazon.co.uk/Infantastic®-KDST01-Child-DIFFERENT-COLOURS/dp/B00EEUKO12/ref=sr_1_2?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1410972542&sr=1-2&keywords=Desk. It does come woth a chair but you could probably find a suitable in Ikea.

Ds is 10 years old. Height from back of knee when seated to floor is 41cm.

Most 'childrens' tables look as if for toddler age. Ds is at that awkward stage, too big for 'children' tables. Maybe I should be looking at teen tables?

Orange that is the table I looked at, I didn't see the chair, i thought it was just for the table?

I meant it doesn't come with a chair, whoops!

Might be a bit big for what you want but can be tilted or left flat

DS2 (a small 12 year old) sits in a Tripp trapp type chair to study. You can adjust the height of the seat and the footrest separately. He has a wedge move'n'sit type cushion on the seat part.

Thanks, it is a bit big, space is quite limited as I have other equipment in the house etc, at the moment.

I think I may have found one www.ukeducationalfurniture.co.uk/prod/singleheightadjustableclassroomtable/

They also have a huge selection of chairs, I am sure I can find one.

Now just writing slope and seat wedge to find!

I might be a bit late to this, but I found this which looks like a good adjustable/tiltable desk.
